We are super keen photographers, just like you. In fact selling my photos has been my sole source of income for nearly a decade and a part time gig for another decade before that. My specialty is people photography. I think people are the most challenging and rewarding subjects and many of our articles, tutorials and products will be geared toward portraiture, but I also love all other sorts of photography so this site is not just for portrait photographers.

The purpose of this site is to encourage growth and new skills in enthusiast, pro and semi-pro photographers. The equipment we recommend is chosen because not only is it very afforable, but of a quality suited to professional use.
