Your portable studio set-up

To create that studio look when you are on location, you need a lighting kit that is flexible and not too difficult to transport.    If AC power is available, anything from our home studio and pro studio pages will work just fine in your portable studio kit.  For the smallest, lightest and cheapest you can use the small battery powered units as featured on our off camera flash page.  However if you need lots of power, for overpowering sunlight especially with a softbox or umbrella, or faster recycle times you need the AC/DC powered units featured on this page.  If you are primarily a studio photographer who needs to use strobe outdoors from time to time, the units in the Pro studio page, coupled with their optional battery packs are ideal.  The added flexibility an AC/DC lighting kit brings to your repertoire is amazing.
